A QUIET WEDDING

At six o'clock Wednesday evening, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel McLean, occurred the marriage of their daughter, Minnie Elizabeth to Mr. Amos H. Gilbert. About twenty relatives had assembled to witness the ceremony, and after Mrs. Woodburn had played Mendelssohn's beautiful wedding march, the Rev. W.W. Woodburn had pronounced the words which made the happy pair man and wife, all fell to and partook of a sumptuous two course supper. The bride was dressed in blue silk, trimmed with white lace, and carried a bunch of white carnations.

Thursday noon at the Will Schooley home a reception was given in honor of the newly-married couple and Thursday evening they departed for Ottumwa on a short wedding tour. They will reside in Grinnell.
