GILBERT-THOMAS MARRIAGE IS ANNOUNCED

Miss Lucille Gilbert of Grinnell and Mr. Joseph Thomas of Montezuma have announced their marriage which took place Friday, October 25, at the Methodist Chapel in Oskaloosa.

Parents of the couple are the late Mr. and Mrs. Amos Gilbert of Grinnell, and Mrs. Harriett Thomas of Montezuma and Des Moines, and the late Mr. Thomas.

The single ring ceremony took place at nine o'clock in the evening, with the bride wearing a navy blue lace ensemble and dark accessories. Her corsage was composed of pink roses.

Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. William Patterson of Oskaloosa. Mrs. Patterson wore a gray tweed suit.

A small dinner party followed the wedding in Oskaloosa.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas have been residing at Route 1, Montezuma, since their marriage.
