Another affidavit in the file, dated 27 May 1916, Lincoln Co., Nebraska, is the statement of Freal L. Disbrow regarding his father's second marriage. No marriage or children known" in 1914. He was engineer. He died on 7 Jul 1934 at Scammon, Cherokee Co, KS, at age 63 (Mr. F.L. Disbro passed away Saturday morning at
the home of his daughter, Mrs. Paul Zimmerman here,
where he had made his home for the past year.Mr. Disbro was born in Nodaway County, Missouri,
July 22, 1871, leaving there for Nebraska at the age
of 12 years where he settled with his grandparents
near Paxton, Nebr. Later he met and married Cinthia
Bradley and moved to North Platte, Nebr. where he
lived all of his married life, except five years spent
in Fort Dodge, Iowa, three years in Glendive, Mont.
and the past year in Scammon. He was preceded in
death by his wife just 14 months and two days ago.He is survived by six daughters; Mrs. R.H. Foss,
Glendive, Mont., Miss Marian, Glendive; Mrs. H. L.
Fletcher, North Platte, Nebr., Mrs. A. E. Allen, New
York City, Mrs. Julian Callahan, Teanenh, N.J., and

grandchildren, his step-mother, three half-sisters and
two half-brothers on the western coast and several
cousins and other relatives and a host of friends.Although failing in health for some time, "Dad" as
he was known by all who knew him, was patient and of a
loving disposition that endeared him to everyone. Few
knew of his failing health until his final illness at
10 o'clock Friday evening, passing away at 8:30
o'clock Saturday morning. He will be sadly missed.Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian
church at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon and the
