Council Bluffs Newspapers held at the library are: Frontier Guardian 1849-1852
Weekly Council Bluffs Bugle 1855-1861

There was a U.R. Brown buried in Emerson Cemetery in Mills County.

Unfortunately, it looks like Uriah died when there were no papers kept. You might try Omaha papers.
