John Charles Rapp was a Minister in the German M.E. Church. He was the son of Henry Rapp. On the 1880 census of James Township he was 22 years old and living with his father. His occupation was "attending school". In September 1883 when he married in Illinois his occupation was "Minister of the Gospel" and his place of residence was Minden, Iowa. In order to be a Minister I assume he would have attended a school of higher education and I'm trying to determine the school he attended. Was there in the 1880's a German M.E. school of higher education in Pottawattamie County?
