His name is Thulin, not Thurlin.

William John Thulin
November 18, 1895 ---- September 1, 1918

Buried in the Griswold cemetery in Griswold, Pottawattamie, Iowa

Obituary:
GROVE TOWNSHIP FARMER DIES AT FORT MORGAN, COL.

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church in Griswold this afternoon for William Thulin of Grove township, whose death occurred Sunday at Ft. Morgan, Colo. Mr. Thulin had been a sufferer with tuberculosis for some time and several weeks ago went to Colorado in hopes the change would be beneficial. For a time his health showed improvement, but more recently he took a turn for the worse and his death came Sunday. His wife was with him in Colorado. Mr. Thulin is survived, besides his wife, by his mother and a sister, Mrs. Ed Smith.
