Einar married Edna Clara Stewart in 1923 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie Co. IA. In the marriage record, his parents are listed as Ewald Swanson and Johanna Hageman. But in the 1925 Iowa State census, his parents are shown as Ewald Swanson & Christine. It appears that he served in the U.S. Army during WWI. He enlisted 20 Sep 1917 and was released 18 Mar 1919. He actually died in Los Angeles Co. California. He is listed there in the death index and his mother's maiden name is shown as Hagman. He and Edna are the parents of 5 children that I know of: Gloria C., Ina E., Edna Maxine, Betty Allene, and Einar Evald.
