I am looking for information on Jeremiah P. "Jerry" Woods. In an bio it stated that he, "put up the first building in the now flourishing city of Council Bluffs, Iowa" - from what I gather this would be abt 1839. He was born in OH, lived early in Clermont Co., OH and later settled in Weston, Platte Co., MO. He was one of the earliest settlers there in 1840. His occupation was as a carpenter, also was a Mayor in Weston. He was married to a Viginia "Jane" Lowers/Lohrer.
