The 1924 city directory of Council Bluffs lists the following:

Silas and Mary Matherly, 2807 Avenue J, no occupation listed.

Geo. Matherly, 2807 Avenue J, works Union Pacific RR.

The 1926 directory lists Silas at the same address, with no spouse, but Geo. Matherly still residing at the same address.
