From the information in the biography of Peter Doty dated during the year 1883 I found the post office address of Minden. Doty's widow Arvilla married Hanson Mills in October of 1883 so Peter's death was probably in early 1883. Is there a way of finding exact date or news article regarding his death, possibly from a local newspaper. Would appreciate any help in establishing death date.
