Godfrey in Council Bluff newspapers 1850-1880

My gggrandfather Orlando Hallam Godfrey, a preacher, and his sons lived in Pott. Co. from 1850 until about 1880. His son Orlando Jr., my ggrandfather, was killed in a bridge building accident abt. 1878. The family is listed in the 1850 and 1860 censuses. I am looking for any information and would like to know where in Iowa I can get access to the newspapers on microfiche to scan for information.
