William G. Putnam
July 1872 – November 9, 1959

Carson – Funeral services for William George Putnam, 87, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Carson Methodist Church. He died Monday at a Griswold Rest Home. Mr. Putnam had been ill about five years. He came to Spring Creek area from Illinois at the age of 2 and had lived here ever since. He was a retired farmer. The Rev. John Nye will officiate at the services. Burial will be in the Carson Cemetery. The McKee Funeral Home is in charge. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Cleveland of Des Moiens; Mrs. Frances Lehmann, Omaha, and Mrs. Edna Way, Houston, Tex.
