LESTER RHOADES

Lester Rhoades, 29, 1400 Avenue L, died of peritonitis at Anamosa Friday, following an illness of two weeks.

He had been a resident of Council Bluffs all his life.

He is survived by a daughter Leona, and a son Lester, both of Omaha, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Rhoades, of Council Bluffs; six brothers, Leo, Jack, Lloyd, Clayton, Ernest and Andrew, all of Council Bluffs; and three sisters, Dorothy, Elizabeth and Bessie, all of Council Bluffs.

Funeral services will be held at Cutler’s Chapel Sunday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
