WILLIAM E. STONE
William E. Stone departed this life at the hospital in Council Bluffs, Ia., June 25, 1903. He has been a constant sufferer for a number of years with an incurable malady. Death came to him very suddenly, releasing his spirit from the body of suffering that it might go back to the God who gave it to dwell with him in endless bliss. He was born August 27, 1878, in Putnam County, Ohio, and at the time of his death was aged 24 years, 9 months and 15 days. He came to Iowa with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Stone, at the age of four years, and resided at home until a short time before his death. The bereaved family has the sympathy of the entire community in their sorrow. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock in the Christian church, Carson, Ia., conducted by P. H. Green.
