LOCAL HAPPENINGS

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Smith of Red
Oak, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Phip-
pen, Mrs. Amanda Spearman,
Mrs. Ola Willis, Harold Hansen
and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Willis of
Audubon were in Council Bluffs
last Thursday to attend funeral
services of Mrs. Kathryn Mann
Palmer. She was a granddaughter
of Mrs. Spearman and had visited
in Exira many times.

Note: Parents were Henry Mann and Georgine H. Spearman.
