COUNCIL BLUFFS - Elizabeth Bernice Adkisson, 82, a retired registered nurse, died Saturday, June 4, 1988, at Council Bluffs.

The service was held at 2 p.m. Monday at Cutler Funeral Home in Council Bluffs with the Rev. Lowell Knauss officiating. Burial was in Ridgewood Cemetery at Council Bluffs. A memorial was established to Indian Hills Care Center, 1600 McPherson Ave., Council Bluffs, 51501.

Kathryn Adkisson and Mr. and Mrs. E.G. Rodibaugh of Fairfield attended the service.

Mrs. Adkisson was born in Libertyville and had lived in Council Bluffs for more than 50 years. She married Joe Adkisson, who died in 1981. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and Harmony Chapter 25, OES.

Surviving are two nieces, who she raised, Jeannine Sigler of Council Bluffs, Marlene Pegel of West Patterson, N.J.; a brother, Harold Leppo of Council Bluffs; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
