Mrs. Ethel M Perdue, 75, died Thursday night at her home at 1300 East Tenth.

She was born November 25, 1902 at Plattsmouth, Nebraska the daughter of Elmer T and Cora Jones Younker and moved to Glenwood when a child. she was graduated from Glenwood Hight school and was employed by the light company in Red Oak.

Ethel was married July 12, 1924 to Roy H Perdue and they lived in Oakland until moving to council Bluffs where they lived from 1928 - 1948 and moved to Atlantic. She was employed here as a bookkeeper at Culligan Soft Water for many years and Mr. Perdue was with the Bell Telephone Company. He died April 30, 1968.

Surviving are a daughter, Bernice A Perdue of Des Moines; two brothers, Everett Younker of Guttenburg and Robert Younker of Cle Elm, Washington; a sister, Laura London of Sioux City; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister. Vesta Kopple and daughter Alice M Merino,

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Hansen Funeral Home with Rev. Claude H Wood officiating and burial in Cedar Lawn Cemetery at Council Bluffs.
