RYAN, RITA

Rita Ryan, RSCJ Religious of the Sacred Heart Rita Ryan, educator, died May 3, in Atherton, California. Born in Neola, Iowa, April 14, 1918, Sister Ryan served for many years at Schools of the Sacred Heart, San Francisco.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Ruth Welbourn Ryan; three sisters, Rosalie Hobza, Ruth Ryan and Eileen Ryan; and two brothers, Max Ryan and Dean Ryan.

She is survived by a brother, Don Ryan of Billings, Montana, and two sisters, Nancy Olderog and Jean Ryan of Omaha.
