Julia Frances (Thornton) Chambers Taylor was born in Jan 1890 to Charles Preston and Luella May Thornton and departed this life Jun 6, 1965. Frances Taylor was buried in Farragut Cemetery in Fremont County, Iowa.

“Glenwood--Services for Mrs. Frances Thornton Taylor, 74, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Peterson Funeral Home here.

She died Sunday at a local nursing home where she had resided for a year. She was formerly a resident of Gresham, Ore., but a native of the Thurman area.

Survivors include a son C. H. (Jack) Chambers of Glenwood, and five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Farragut Cemetery.”
