Terrance L. "Terry" Casson, age 75, of McClelland, Iowa, passed away December 7, 2011, at Mercy Hospital.

Terry was born June 18, 1936, in McClelland, to the late John and Margaret (Underwood) Casson. He graduated from Underwood, Iowa High School in 1954. Terry married Jean Ann Holzfaster on July 19, 1959 in Neola, Iowa. They were blessed with four children, Dianne, Doramae, Robert and Joe. Terry was a lifetime farmer in McClelland; a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Neola; volunteer for the McClelland Fire and Rescue Department and York Township Trustee.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Terry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jean Casson; sons, Robert Casson and wife, Rhonda, all of McClelland, Joe Casson and wife, Kelly, of Omaha; daughters, Dianne Casson, of Council Bluffs, Doramae Casson, of McClelland; grandchildren, Heather (Chad), Erika, Natalie, Max and Leo; brothers, Don Casson and wife, Nancy, of McClelland, Roscoe Casson and wife, Lucille, of Treynor, Iowa, Chuck Casson and wife, Marilyn, of Hartford, Iowa, Jim Casson and wife, Sonie, of Atlantic, Iowa, Keith Casson and wife, Karen, of Northfield, Minn.; sisters, Alice Cummings, of Gretna, Neb., Jane Koch and husband, Harry, of Lincoln, Neb.; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family, Sunday, 3 to 7 p.m., at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Funeral Service, Monday, 10:30 a.m., at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Neola, Iowa. Rev. Mr. Darwin Kruse will officiate.

Interment Hardin Township Cemetery with a lunch following at the McClelland, Iowa Hall. The family will direct memorials.
