The funeral for Bruce K. "Kevin" Turner, 31, of Council Bluffs will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Queen of the Apostles Church with the Rev. Dan Kirby officiating.
Mr. Turner died May 31 in the Missouri River following a boating accident.
He was born Jan. 5, 1972, in Omaha to Bruce and Norma (Wallis) Turner. He was a 1990 graduate of Lewis Central High School and attended Iowa Western Community College. He was a self-employed contractor with KT Construction Co.
since 1999. He worked in construction his entire life. His hobbies were snowmobiling, boating, fishing and hunting.Mr. Turner and his wife, Amy (Patten), were married three years.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his mother, Norma Turner; father, Bruce Turner and wife, Charmaine; sister, Kay Sturm and husband, Rick; nephews, Hayden and Jordan Sturm, all of Council Bluffs.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park
