Obituary Joshua L. Royer

Joshua L. Royer, age 25, of Council Bluffs, passed away October 16, 2010, from injuries suffered in a car accident on Mudhollow Road.

Josh was born May 6, 1985, in Council Bluffs. He graduated from Underwood, Iowa High School in 2003 and earned an Associate’s Degree in Business from IWCC. Josh was a stockbroker for TD Ameritrade for the past 3 years.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Ring.

Josh is survived by his mother, Christy Cross, of Council Bluffs; father, Jeff Royer and wife, Terry, of Neola; brother, Judd Nielsen, of Council Bluffs; sister, Jessi Royer; brother, Jake Royer, both of Neola; fiance, Carrie Stom, of Council Bluffs; grandfather, Richard Ring, of Council Bluffs; grandparents, Bert and Jane Royer, of Underwood; great grandfather, Joe Papst, of Council Bluffs; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Family receiving friends, Tuesday, 4 to 8 p.m., at Saint John Lutheran Church. Funeral service, Wednesday, 10 a.m., at the church with Rev. E. Jon Benson, Pastor officiating.

Interment Fisher Cemetery, Underwood, with a lunch following at Saint John Lutheran Church. The family will direct memorials.
