Esther "Essie" Mary Young, age 79, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2010.

She is survived by her children, Connie (Tony) Saylor, of Hancock, Iowa, Larry (Kathy) Young, of Hancock, Roger Young, of Minden, Iowa, Vickie (Marion) Kempf, of Council Bluffs, and Randy Young, of Council Bluffs; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; and sister, Eva Manhart, of Neola, Iowa.

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 18, 2010, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca, Iowa. Funeral Service will be Friday, November 19, 2010, at 2 p.m., also at the funeral home.

Interment Silver Valley Cemetery in Hancock, Iowa.
