Mrs. Louise Pool Barker

Mrs. Louise Pool Barker, 77, pioneer resident of Council Bluffs, died at the home of her daughter in Ardmore, Okla., Tuesday. Mrs. Barker was born in England, but she had lived in Council Bluffs for seventy years, when she moved to Ardmore to be with her daughter, three years ago. She was a member of the Eastern Star and of The Presbyterian church. She is survived by one son, J. T. Rudd of Chicago; three daughters, Mrs Clara Tate of Ardmore, with whom Mrs. Barker lived at the time of her death, Mrs. Mayme Wood of Portsmith, Ark., and Mrs. Bess Oder of Gibbons, Okla.; four sisters, Miss Mary E Pool, Mrs. Anna Emerine and Mrs. Maude Conboy of Council Bluffs and Mrs Carrie Schickitanz of Oak Harbor, Wash.; two brothers, Ed Pool of Diagonal and Henry Pool of Modale; seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The body will be brought to Council Bluffs. Funeral services will be held at the home of Mrs. Conboy, 2250 Avenue H. Thursday at 2 p.m., Rev. J. R. Perkins of!
ficiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill cemetery.
