Wally R. "Bud" Brown, 69, of Council Bluffs died May 27 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

He was born March 1, 1934, in Council Bluffs to Leonard R. and Josephine F. (Wallace) Brown. He was a 1952 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School. He was a printer from 1950 to 1990, working for Ainsworth Printing, JP Cooke and U.S. Checkbook, where he retired from in 1990. He was a member of First Christian Church and Toastmasters.

Survivors include one sister, Marilyn Zaccone and husband, Zeke; three brothers, Bob Brown and wife, Brenice, Tom Brown and Mike Brown and wife, Mary, all of Council Bluffs; nieces and nephews; aunt, Mrs. Herbert Wallace of Council Bluffs.

Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Lowell Burkum officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with a lunch following at First Christian Church.

Memorials may be offered to First Christian Church.
