Donald W. Feller, 63, of Council Bluffs died Tuesday at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha.

He was born Oct. 24, 1939, in Council Bluffs.

He was a postal carrier for the U.S. Post Office in Omaha for 37 years before retiring in 1999. He was a member of the National Letter Carriers Union, the American Quarterhorse Association, the West Pottawattamie Farm Bureau, the Council Bluffs Saddle Club and the Glendale Presbyterian Church.

He and his wife, Barbara, were married for 14 years.

Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters, Chris Christensen and husband, Ed, of Crescent, and Cathy Wright and husband, Dennis, of Council Bluffs; a son, Dan Feller and wife, Kathy, of Council Bluffs; a sister, Sharon McMillen of Council Bluffs; three brothers, Darrell of Colorado, David and Doug, both of Council Bluffs; a brother-in-law, John Slobodnik of Neola; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. E.A. Hering officiating. Burial will be in Garner Township Cemetery.

Memorials made be offered to the American Heart Association.
