COLUMBIA, Mo. - The funeral for Anne Merksick Schadt, 86, of Columbia, Mo., formerly of Council Bluffs, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home in Council Bluffs with the Rev. F. Stephen Walinski officiating.

Mrs. Schadt died May 13 in Columbia.

She was born March 2, 1917, in Illinois to Vaso and Milica Merksick. She worked as a homemaker.

She and her husband, Robert, had been married for 59 years.

Survivors in addition to her husband include two sons, Jim and wife, Linda, of Columbia and Ron of Westmont, Ill.; a granddaughter, Amy Schadt of Overland Park, Kan.; and a grandson, Toby, of Mill Valley, Calif.

Visitation with the family will be Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cedar Lawn Cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to the American Lung Association and St. Nicholas Serbian Church.
