OAKLAND - Wilbur Benjamin Johnson, 81, of Oakland died May 17 at his home.

He was born July 3, 1921, in St. Edward, Neb., to Charles Lawrence and Elnora Elizabeth (Schuneman) Johnson.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; one son, Larry and wife, Sherry, of Council Bluffs; one daughter, Janice Frain and husband, William, of Homer City, Pa.; grandchildren, Mark Johnson and wife, Sue, of Roland, Kristin Andersen and husband, Dan, of Polk City, Tammi Blank and husband, Erik, of Pittsburgh, William Frain and wife, Tammie, of Ford City, Pa., and Kathy Dashvick and husband, Tanner, of Pittsburgh; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lawrence and wife, Eloise, of Winnetoon, Neb., and Rollie and wife, Janice, of Calument, Okla.; one sister, Trudy Nebbia of Omaha; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

An open visitation will be held at Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m.

The funeral will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Oakland at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Oakland.
