05/05/2003Marjorie L. Shively, 80, of Council Bluffs died May 3 at her daughter's home.
She was born Aug. 4, 1922, to Everett and Mary Ellen (Dermody) Hill in Gilman, Ill.
She served as a homemaker and was a member of the Catholic faith. She lived in Punta Gorda, Fla., for 32 years.
She and her husband, John Shively, were married 61 years. She was preceded in death by son, John Stephen Shively, in 1989.
Survivors in addition to her husband include two daughters, Maureen Mass and husband, Randy, of Council Bluffs, and Mary Theresa Shively of Punta Gorda; a sister, Katherine Morgan of Clifton, Ill.; two brothers, Dick Hill of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Wayne Hill of Illinois; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation with family will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the mortuary. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Larsen of Country Bible Church in Blair, Neb., officiating. The body will be cremated following the funeral.
