Glen W. Adams, 88, of Council Bluffs died May 1 at Bethany Lutheran Home.

He was born Nov. 21, 1914, in Kansas City, Kan., to Fred and Callie (Fyock) Adams. He moved to Council Bluffs in 1919. He worked in the Store Department of the Union Pacific Railroad for 40 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and Union Pacific Oldtimers. He was a volunteer at Mercy Hospital for over 20 years.

Mr. Adams and his wife, Pearl, were married 64 years.

Survivors in addition to his wife include daughter, Glenda Wilson and husband, Michael, of Dubuque; sons, Don Adams and wife, Michelle, of Genoa, Ill., and Larry Adams and wife, Carol, of Council Bluffs; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Twylia Bolin, of Livingston, Mont.; brother, Harold Adams and wife, Lois, of Council Bluffs.

Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Cutler-O'Neill- Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kim Crummer officiating.

Burial will be in Ridgewood Mausoleum followed by a lunch at the church.

Memorials may be offered to Epworth United Methodist Church.
