05/04/2003A private family service was held May 2 for Dorothy A. Clausen, 70, a resident of Honey Creek since 1951, who died April 29, 2003, at Alegent Health Mercy Hopsital.
She was born Sept. 7, 1932, to Harold and Alda Edwards in Mills County. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School.
She was a homemaker and worked at the Omaha Wholesale Florist.
She was married for 52 years to Ralph Clausen.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth.
She is survived by her husband of the home; two daughters, Kristie Konz and husband Bill of Red Oak, and Kathy Miller and husband Hal of Honey Creek; a sister, May Thompson of Council Bluffs; a granddaughter, Stacy Beinhart and husband, Nick, of Keota; two grandsons, Todd Konz and wife, Chan, of Villisca, and Brian Konz and wife, Heidi, of Huxley; and four great-grandchildren.
She was buried at Grange Cemetery.
Memorials may be offered to the American Cancer Association or the American Heart Association.
Funeral services were handled by Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home.
