AVOCA - The funeral for Ronald L. Kadel, 87, of Minden will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Minden United Church of Christ with the Rev. Denny Peterson officiating.

Mr. Kadel died April 20 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

He was born in Minden. He was a farmer. He was a member of Minden United Church of Christ and a past member of Flying Farmers of America Association and Civil Air Patrol.

Mr. Kadel and his wife, Beulah, were married 64 years.

Survivors in addition to his wife include daughter-in-law, Lynn Peterson, and husband, the Rev. Denny Peterson, of Minden; two granddaughters, Kathy Fox and husband, Brian, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Suzanne Watson and husband, James, of Council Bluffs; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Ednamae Hollesen, of Council Bluffs.

Visitation will be tonight from 7 to 8 at the church. Burial will be in Minden Cemetery. Pauley Knutson Funeral Home in Avoca is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be offered to Minden United Church of Christ.
