Ella M. Points

The funeral for Ella May Points, 82, of Council Bluffs will be Friday at 2 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home.

Mrs. Points died April 14 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

She was a nursing aide, retiring from St. Joseph's Hospital in 1982.

Mrs. Points and her husband, John, were married 65 years. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon James.

Survivors in addition to her husband include her children, Patricia Parks, Carol Morgal, Mary Quick, Connie Meyers, Tonya Stutheit and John Points; sisters, Betty Cristo and Nancy Earlywine; brothers, Jim, Bennie and Tom; 32 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
