MISSOURI VALLEY - Cecil L. Jones, 86, of Missouri Valley died April 11 at Longview Nursing Home in Missouri Valley.

She was born in Council Bluffs and was a former resident and homemaker.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred, in April 2000.

Survivors include a brother, Dwayne Kennedy and wife, Connie, of Council Bluffs; four sisters, Beverly Armstrong and husband, Lyle, of Council Bluffs, Ruth Campbell of Crescent, Margaret Sturgeon and husband, Ray, of Bakersfield, Calif., Kathryn Smith of Lancaster, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Virginia Kennedy of Council Bluffs; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kim Crummer of Epworth United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in Crescent Cemetery in Crescent.

Memorials may be offered to Longview Alzheimer Unit.
