Richard Ray Rahde

Funeral for Richard Ray Rahde, 63, of Council Bluffs will be 2 p.m. Monday at McCurdy Funeral Home with the Rev. E.A. Hering officiating.

Mr. Rahde died April 11 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

He was born in Neligh, Neb., and worked as a tool and die maker at Western Electric for 42 years. He retired from Lucent Technologies in August 2000.

Mr. Radhe and his wife, Elaine (Deke), were married 43 years.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Peggy Lynn Rahde in 1978 and by his parents, Raymond Rahde and Amanda Braband.

Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter, Patricia Kyle and husband, Dennis, of Bellevue; three sisters Betty, Carolyn and Sandra; and a grandson, Brandon Kyle.

Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hardin Township Cemetery in McCllelland.

Memorials may be offered to the American Heart Association.
