Frances E. Osborn

Graveside services for Frances E. Osborn, 98, of Council Bluffs will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Hazel Dell Cemetery. Family and friends are to meet at the cemetery.

Mrs. Osborn died April 6 at Bethany Lutheran Home.

She was born Jan. 24, 1905, in Council Bluffs to Arthur Ranney and Kate Holder. She previously lived in Walnut. She graduated from Jennie Edmundson School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse and a homemaker. She was a member of the Baptist church.

Mrs. Osborn was preceded in death by her husband, James, in 1975.

Survivors include her daughter, Kate Sorensen, of Walnut; stepdaughters, Audrey Johnson and husband, Darrel, of Lee Summit, Mo., and Rosemary Johnson and husband, John, of Underwood; grandson, Ed Sorensen, of Stuart; grandchildren, Eric, Kristen, and Marc Sorensen; great-grandson, Kameron; brother, Clifton Ranney, of Lamoni.

There will be open visitation today. Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
