WALNUT - The funeral for Darrell "Spanky" Clayton, 59, of Walnut will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Peace Church in Walnut with the Rev. Doris Ruben and Bob Greenwall officiating.

Mr. Clayton died April 2 at home.

He was born south of Walnut. He was a truck driver.

Mr. Clayton and his wife, Deb, were married 31 years.

Survivors in addition to his wife include two children, Kelli Clayton and Jennifer Clayton, both of Walnut; two sisters, Wanda Pickenpaugh and husband, Roger, of Omaha, and Lucinda Nielsen and husband, Bernie, of Casco, Maine; two brothers, Eugene Clayton and wife, Jeanette, of Walnut and Larry Clayton and wife, Sadie, of Fayetteville, Pa.; two grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Pauley Knutson Funeral Home in Walnut. Burial will be in Walnut Cemetery.
