Karen (Filbert) Galle

SHREVEPORT, La. - A Celebration of Life memorial service for Karen M. (Filbert) Galle, 54, of Shreveport, La., will be held tonight at 7:30 at the Osborn Funeral Home in Shreveport with the Rev. Bart Gould officiating.

Mrs. Galle died March 26 in Shreveport after a brief illness. She was a native of Council Bluffs and a resident of Shreveport for the last two and a half years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Mary Fran Filbert.

Karen is survived by her loving husband and friend, Gary Galle; one daughter and kindred spirit, Amie Galle; two brothers, Larry Filbert of Council Bluffs and Donald Filbert Jr. of Atlanta; three sisters, Julie Nelson of Shreveport, La., Jacquie Rosebrook of Des Moines and her loving twin sister, Kathleen Ferris of Council Bluffs; and a circle of very special friends and relatives.
