In Memory: Violet Peterson
Violet Blanche Peterson, 88, died November 2, 2001 at her residence in Shelby.
Violet enjoyed quilting and belonged to a sewing circle. She was a member of the United Lutheran Church in Shelby where she taught Sunday School for many years. She also belonged to the ULCW and the Altar Guild.
Violet was preceded in death by her husband Clarence; and one brother, Howard Erickson.
Survivors include her children: Keith and his wife Mary Jane of Shelby; Paul and his wife, Merry Lee of Shelby; Bonita and her husband, Paul Pfankuch of Boise, Idaho; and Jeanette and her husband, Terrance Kamm of Melrose, Minnesota; 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; one sister, Ethel Jenson of Underwood; two brothers, Glen Erickson of Vero Beach, Florida and Clinton Erickson of Neola.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 6 at the Shelby United Lutheran Church in Shelby with Pastor Dale Jenson officiating. Burial was in the Shelby Cemetery.
