William McIntosh Jr.

MISSOURI VALLEY - William "Bud" McIntosh Jr., 85, of Honey Creek died March 17 at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital.

He was born Jan. 22, 1918, in Honey Creek to John W. and Edith A. (League) McIntosh. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Engineer's Division. He farmed with his wife in the Honey Creek area for many years.

Mr. McIntosh and his wife, Muriel (Klindt), were married June 1, 1946, in Harlan.

Survivors in addition to his wife include his children, Sharon Foster of Griswold, Bruce C. McIntosh and wife, Pam, of Honey Creek, Joyce York and husband, Ken, of Omaha; sisters, Wilma of Ruthven, Tresse Botos of Kansas City, Mo.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley. The funeral will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Branson Cemetery in Loveland.
