Donald Edmund Diggle of Pryor, Okla., passed away Jan. 2 at 80 years of age. Memorial services were held Jan. 6.

Donald was born to Charles Franklin and Evelyn (Zindler) Diggle Feb. 19, 1929 in Neola.

He attended and graduated from school in Persia.

He moved to Tulsa, Okla., and there met and married Ina Nell Riley April 18, 1957. He worked at the Utica National Bank in Tulsa and retired as the vice-president of the loan department. They moved to Pryor in the mid-1980’s. His wife preceded him in death in 1998. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, cooking, playing cards and being with friends and family. He was very active with Meals on Wheels and ministering to inmates in the county jail during Christmas.

Don is survived by daughters Donna Joyce (Jimmy) Jones of Tulsa; Tiny Sue Shelton of Pryor; Jeni (Rick) Camacho of Claremore, Okla.; grandchildren, Eric Herman of Broken Bow, Okla., Jason Herman of Collinsville, Okla., Bryan Thomas of Shreveport, La.; Shawn (Lindsay) Thomas of Okema, Okla. Great grandchildren, Alexia Thomas, Bryce Herman, Braydon Thomas, Alexandria Herman and Ryder Thomas; sister Barbara Lou (Russell) Minehart of Midway Park, N.C.; niece Mary Lynn (James) Dodd of Midway Park, N.C.; nephews, Michael (Marie) Minehart of Augusta, Ga.; Kirk (Jacque) Diggle of Omaha, Neb.; Douglas (Kelly) Diggle of Omaha, Neb.; great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, infant twin brothers Dwight and Duane, brother and sister-in-law, Cleone and Joan Diggle and nephew Mark Diggle.
