Patty J. Halterman

The funeral for Patty Jean Halterman, 67, of Council Bluffs will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Gross of Holy Family Catholic Church officiating.

Mrs. Halterman died March 10 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

She was born April 17, 1935, in Fremont, Neb., to Lawrence and Alma (Sink) Golliglee. She lived in Fremont from 1935-1941 and Omaha from 1941-1956 before moving to Council Bluffs in 1956. She was a 1952 graduate of Omaha Tech High School. She was assistant manager at Little King Restaurant and also worked at Christy Creme. She was of the Catholic faith.

Mrs. Halterman and her husband, Conia Jr., were married 49 years.

Survivors in addition to her husband include one daughter, Debra Halterman, of Council Bluffs; three sons, Larry and wife, Sue, of Council Bluffs, Terry and wife, Brenda, and Gary and wife, Suzanne, all of Omaha; mother, Alma M. Tennant, of Omaha; sister, Bette McDaniel, of Bourbon, Ind.; brother, Gerald Golliglee, of Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery with a lunch following at American Legion Hall.
