Frank M. Perry, 87, of Council Bluffs died March 10 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.
He was born April 17, 1915, in Council Bluffs to Frank W. and Mabel C. (Perry) Perry. He previously lived in the McClelland area most of his life, moving to Council Bluffs in 1994. He was a 1933 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School. He was a farmer and self-employed carpenter in the McClelland area, retiring in 1980. He was Past Master of Amber Lodge No. 569 AF & AM in Quick; Past Worthy Patron of Amber Star Chapter No. 328 O.E.S. in Quick; and Past Grand Sentinel of the Grand Chapter of Iowa, Order of Eastern Star.
Mr. Perry and his wife, Lenelda (Jubb), were married Oct. 11, 1940.
Survivors in addition to his wife include two sons, Charles Waldo Perry and wife, Sonja, of Elk Rapids, Mich., and William Vance Perry and wife, Delores, of Bluemont, Va.; a daughter, Susan Perry, of Burtonsville, Md.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. with a Masonic service by Amber Lodge No. 569 AF & AM of Quick at 7 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Chapel. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Bishop David Hanks officiating. Burial will be in Hardin Township Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at Amber Lodge in Quick.
Memorials may be offered to Amber Lodge No. 569 AF & AM in Quick or Visiting Nurses Association.
