In Memory: Audrey E. Michalak

Memorial service for Audrey E. Michalak, 70, of Shelby was held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Shelby United Methodist Church with the Rev. Orris Drake officiating.

Mrs. Michalak died November 28 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

She was born in Marcus. She was a homemaker and volunteered at nursing homes and care centers. She was a member of Shelby United Methodist Church in Shelby.

Mrs. Michalak and her husband, Edmund, were married 43 years.

Survivors' in addition to her husband include two daughters, Peggy Tasich and husband, David, of Dunlap and Jody Weible and husband, Dennis, of Mead, Nebraska; one son, Tony, and wife, Sandy, of Avoca; one sister, Phyllis O'Donnel, and husband, Rev. Charles, of College Park, Maryland; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

There was no visitation. The body was cremated. Knutson Funeral Home in Avoca was in charge of arrangements.
