In Memory: Virginia Stevens

Virginia Lee Stevens, 81, of Persia died January 10 at her home.

She was born in Des Moines and had lived in Persia most of her life. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her husband, Quincy, last October.

Survivors include two daughters, Dee Ann Tuttle and husband, David, of Persia and LaCinda Geer and husband, Gary, of Laurel, Nebraska; two sisters, Lillian Falk and Marijane Felse, both of Des Moines; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in the Evergreen Cemetery at Collins. McCurdy Funeral Home in Council Bluffs was in charge of arrangements.
