In Memory: Cyril T. Lobendo

Graveside services for Cyril Thelman Lobendo, 82, of Marshalltown was held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Robert O. Boseck officiating.

Mr. Lobendo died November 18 at Veteran's Home in Marshalltown.

He was born in Bentley to Sam Lobendo and Bessie Sutton. He graduated from Underwood High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He did office help at Veteran's Hospital for 17 years. He was a member of First Christian Church. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans.

Survivors include one brother, Van Lobendo, and wife, Donna, of Council Bluffs; nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family was held at McCurdy Funeral Home.

Memorials may be offered to First Christian Church.
