In Memory: Jerry L. Armstrong

The funeral for Jerry Lee Armstrong, 64, of Council Bluffs was held Saturday at 10 a.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home with the Rev. Duane King officiating.

Mr. Armstrong died July 2 at Select Special Hospital in Papillion, Nebraska.

He was born October 25, 1937, in Missouri Valley to Howard and Alice (Mefferd) Armstrong. He was raised in Missouri Valley and Canada, moving to Council Bluffs 50 years ago. He worked for U-Haul Company for 10'years, as well as Bingo King and Wilson Concrete.

Mr. Armstrong was preceded in death by his son, David Lee.

Survivors include his wife, Pam (Heath); three sons, Sean of Omaha, Chad of Council Bluffs and Dennis of Underwood; one brother, Lyle, of Council Bluffs; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family was held Friday evening at the funeral home. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
