In Memory: Shirley M. Brougham

Shirley M. Brougham, 68, of Council Bluffs died November 13 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

She was born September 19, 1933, in Council Bluffs to John and Grace (Moore) Arrick. She previously lived in Beebeetown and graduated from Beebeetown High School. She worked in housekeeping at Jennie Edmundson Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 1995.

Mrs. Brougham was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, on August 4, 1961.

Survivors include one daughter, Teresa Brougham, of Council Bluffs; two brothers, Emmet Arrick and wife, Ruth, of Persia and George Arrick of Houston; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family was held Friday evening at Belford O'Neill Funeral Home. The funeral was held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Harry Arrick officiating. Burial was in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Neola
