Willie R. White

The funeral for Willie Ruth White, 64, of Council Bluffs will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Cutler-O'Neill Chapel with Bishop Paul Teal officiating.

Mr. White died Feb. 20 at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital.

He was born in Tatums, Okla., and worked for Blue Star/ ConAgra for 24 years as an assembly-line worker.

Survivors include five daughters, Deborah Ann James of Kingston, N.Y., Donna White Franklin of Albuquerque, N.M., and Pamela Ann White, Veronica Lynn White, Christine Renee White, all of Council Bluffs; a son, John Fredrick White and wife, Rebecca, of Omaha; his mother, Dorothy Corbin of Council Bluffs; a sister, Bernetta Davis; and grandchildren Kesha James, Jason White, Christopher White, Marnesha White, Alexis Mitchell and Tanea White.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill Chapel.

Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery with a committal service by the Rev. Jesse Isom.
