Franklin 'Pat' French

Franklin "Pat" French, 80, of Council Bluffs died Feb. 22 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

He served in the military during World War II.

He was a member of a Council Bluffs post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. French was preceded in death by a son, David; his parents; four sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Marion; a daughter, Sherry Beno; a son, Larry, and his wife, Diana; three brothers, Chuck, Bob and Jack and wife, Beth; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren, all of Council Bluffs.

Visitation with the family will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home.

Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Rainbow Post No. 2.

Burial will be at Grange Cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to an organization of the donor's choice.
